Being PL Pearson is something I wish I had done decades ago. Since the publication of my new book, Girl Rising, I have reached out to and embraced the digital world on Facebook and Twitter and via email, and in the process, I now have hundreds of new friends — as well as the “old” ones.
To those of you who have read my book and commented, I say “Thank You!” The interest in and acceptance of this work is something I will appreciate — no, I will treasure — for a very long time.
Please know, however, that Girl Rising is just the beginning. Already, I am more than halfway through another novel, When She Returned. This one is a minor departure from my “genre.” Normally I do historical fiction.
This one has an extra element — suspense.
Here’s a hint. The main character, Rachel Bolan, is an American doctor working in England. She is touring a former royal residence when she has an apparition. Curious, she does enough research to learn that she is, indeed, a distant relative of Anne Boleyn, one of Henry VII’s wives who was famously beheaded. Before long, the ghost of Anne possesses Rachel, using her to exact revenge on the descendants of those responsible for her murder.
I can’t wait to share it with you. If you are curious, drop me an email at pearsonpl2020@gmail.com and I will send you a few sample chapters.
That’s it for today.
All the best,
Patricia
Can’t wait.
It’s Springtime 2021, and I’m reading the manuscript for A Royal Revenge. You’re gonna like it.
