It is Book Two in a series, and tracks the continuing journey of Elizabeth Frakes as she overcomes a troubled childhood to earn a university degree in English and become a resourceful newspaper editor. Her love life also flourishes. It won’t be a surprise if I tell you that some scenes (as in Book One) are steamy. Well, it is Liz after all.
Stephen Siddell, the college classmate Liz has decided to be her “Golden Boy”, figures more visibly as the man in her life, but so do another, and another. Her episodes of political activism and feminism also are a constant in the plot. She also advances as a PR professional and completes graduate school.
